The Somalia envoy to Malaysia Abukar Abdi Osman has extended his country's greetings to Malaysia on its National Day celebrations tomorrow.
The ambassador, in a statement issued on Saturday, said that he hoped for peace, prosperity and progress for the nation, and that Malaysia shall overcome the COVID-19 pandemic.
On behalf of his country he also congratulated the Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah, Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, the government and Malaysians on the occasion.“The strong relationship between Somalia and Malaysia allows us to better face new challenges and pursue new opportunities for our citizens.
“Building on our robust economic, security, and people-to-people ties, we continue to make progress on our shared goal of promoting a peaceful and prosperous nation,” he said.
