HARGEISA (HOL) - Security forces in Somaliland Friday raided the home of activist Abdimalik Oldoon about a week after his arrest.
Sources said police ransacked the home of the activist under unclear circumstances. His parents protested police action terming it intimidation in the wake of their son's arrest.
Odoon was arrested last week after he claimed that a foreign funded school in Somaliland was propagating Christianity.
The activist claimed that one of the lecturers at Abarso School Network from Nigeria was 'spreading Christianity' in the school.
Abarso administration has since dismissed the allegations noting there was no evidence the lecturer was engaged in the acts accused.
Oldon had variously been arrested by authorities in Somaliland in the past.
