Mogadishu (HOL) - Somali Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble and representatives of the international community met in Mogadishu on Wednesday n the Aficio tent to discuss the political situation in Somalia.
The meeting focused on Somalia's electoral crisis and the facilitation of the tasks charged to the Prime Minister ahead of a much anticipated electoral conference in Mogadishu on May 20.
The meeting marked the first time PM Roble with international partners since being handed over the election portfolio from President Farmajo last week.
Farmajo's decision last week to rescind the two-week extension he sought from Parliament last month was welcomed by the international community, who were united in their opposition to unilateral extensions and parallel electoral processes.
