Mogadishu (HOL) - The Somali Electoral Dispute Resolution Committee has ordered the Federal Elections Implementation Team to suspend the results of the HOP-067 seat won by NISA interim commander Colonel Yassin Farey on Sunday.
The committee said the results were suspended following a lawsuit filed by Ahmed Abdikarin Ali and Nabaddoon Ali Hassan Ali (Ali Jeesto).
The commission said it would finalize its investigation into the case within seven days, and the election commission would share its findings.
It is the second time that the Dispute Resolution Committee has suspended a seat. Deputy Prime Minister Mahdi Guled's seat, was released a few days later when the committee found the found legal.
