Egypt Group.. Oman beat Somalia in the Arab Youth Cup
Oman defeated Somalia 2-0 in the second round of Group D of the Arab Cup for U-20 Youth Teams.
The two goals of the Oman national team, Sultan Al-Marzouq and Ali Al Balushi, scored a goal in each half of the match.
The Omani national team player, Abdul Majeed Al Balushi, won the award for the best player in the match.
With this result, the Oman national team’s tally increases to 3 points, equal to Egypt in Group D, followed by Somalia without a balance so far.

The fourth group matches will conclude with the meeting between Egypt and Somalia next Wednesday at Damak Club Stadium.

Group Two: UAE national team – Jordan national team – Yemen team.
Group C: Algeria team – Lebanon team – Libya team.
Group D: Egypt, Oman, Somalia.
Group E: Tunisia team – Bahrain national team – Djibouti team.
Group F: Morocco, Sudan, Palestine.
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will host in the city of Abha and Khamis Mushait the eighth edition of the Arab Football Cup for U-20 teams, organized by the Arab Football Association, and hosted by the Saudi Federation during the period from July 20 to August 6, with the participation of 18 teams.
This is the second tournament for the Arab Football Association during the current season 2022/2023, after the sixth edition of the Arab Futsal Cup was recently held in Dammam, Saudi Arabia.
The seventh edition of the tournament was held in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, in 2021, and the Saudi national team crowned its title after winning the final match against Algeria. The next tournament will be played at Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Sports City Stadium in Abha City, and Damak Club Stadium in Khamis Mushait Governorate.
