Somali President makes his first foreign trip to UAE

    Jowhar (HOL) - Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud on Sunday began his first foreign trip to the United Arab Emirates since he took office on May 15th.

    According to Villa Somalia, the President and his delegation received an official invitation from his counterpart in the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohamed Binu Sayid.

    Villa Somalia added that the President's two-day visit would focus on strengthening diplomatic ties between the two countries, facilitating travel, trade, and enhancing cooperation between the two countries.
