Two dead as soldiers battle each other in Mogadishu

    Mogadishu (HOL) - Two soldiers were killed and two wounded during a gunbattle between Somali soldiers in Mogadishu's Wadajir district on Thursday, sending neighbours fleeing indoors.

    The fighting was between two sets of soldiers - and their family members - who are said to be locked in a dispute over the construction of a house on a disputed plot of land. The battle was mainly in Wadajir's Tarabushka neighbourhood.The battle was mainly in Wadajir's Tarabushka neighbourhood.

    While the fighting has died down, residents fear clashes may break out again.

    Security officials have yet to comment on the incident.
