Gunmen kill Quran teacher and his wife near Dhusamareb town

    Dhusamareb (HOL) - Gunmen killed a Quran teacher and his wife in a small village near Dhusamareb, the administrative capital of Galmudug state, on Saturday night.

    According to residents, Abdullahi Ali, known as Jalaqle, and his wife were killed in Gorfaale village. The gunmen quickly escaped from the scene, and there has been no response from the Galmudug administration's security forces.

    The reason behind the killings is unclear, although clan revenge killings have recently increased in central Somali regions, particularly in the Galgadud region.
